Spiritual Experience
Dr. Lauren E. Pichard, Doctor of Clinical Psychology and Medical Intuitive has been studying spiritual healing methods since she was a young girl with her father who was influenced in the Silva Method. In highschool she was reading and training in intuitive practices. She took a break in college and grad school where she was told “believing one is psychic is considered a mental disorder.” And she resumed her training when she saw the miracles that were being performed at the Pain Management Program at the Betty Ford Center when a Medical Doctor was combining psychological care and Qi Gong to his treatments and getting miraculous results- people off medication, off hospice, and restored to health.
Inspired by these results and the combination of western care with traditional healings she began her studies again in Hawaiian and Peruvian shamanism, Family Constellation healing, Forensic Healing, Christian healing through the authority of Jesus Christ and many many more. It is the crossroads of what Dr Lauren learned in graduate school and her spiritual studies that she brings to you methods to heal.
It gets better: In April 2021, after several years of meditating with Paramhansa Yogananda, he blessed Dr Lauren with the ability to heal anything. It is with her faith in The Divine to work through her that she carries on her work. (Of course he work can not be guaranteed, but no medical intervention can be).
Yogananda’s blessing created a peak experience- where when she looked at what needed to be healed for people- she experienced looking at it like wading through a mist she could feel physically. It was a physical experience that confirmed the channeled baptism through a friend by Paramhansa Yogananda was real. Another confirmation was the $25,000 random check that came in the mail after she followed his orders to surround herself in gold and abundance would flow in.
With a deep understanding that everything is energy at its foundation, no physical, mental, or emotional illness exists without the possibility of restoration to health and harmony.
Projects
Dr. Pichard’s dissertation was “Understanding The Experience Of Military Service Members Who Became Disfigured In Operations Enduring Freedom and Operations Iraqi Freedom.” This project left Dr. Pichard with a deep understanding of the military lifestyle as well as the personal struggles of living with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and coping with physical changes such as disfigurement and physical limitations.
Dr. Pichard has worked in close collaboration with Dr. Matthew Porter a professor of Alliant International University in his research project entitled “Strong Hearts.” This project conducted qualitative interviews in New York City and Brazil with people who contracted the Human Immunodeficiency Virus when the epidemic first began; when there was very little information about the virus and when people who were given the diagnosis were essentially facing death. Preliminary research findings from the research suggest a pattern of wisdom that people resolve their struggles through. This pattern is likely able to be universal for all psychological dilemmas.
Personal Interest
Dr. Pichard has a 13 year old rescue dog, Rylee (a beautiful Weimaraner/pit mix) that she brought home from the Humane Society when Rylee was 1. Rescuing Rylee has helped her bridge her knowledge of behavioral childhood interventions into behavioral interventions with animals. Dr. Pichard practices yoga and meditation for well-being and has an overall interest in the mind-body connection and energy healing. Dr. Pichard is dedicated to self mastery and helping others on their spiritual journey.
She also enjoys time outdoors in physical activity such as hiking, gardening or relaxing with friends and finds that music and dance are essential for her personal joy. She has recently taken up Kung Fu and Qi Gong and is excited to master the “one inch punch.” She enjoys spending as much time as she can with her family both in the San Diego area and on the east coast. She has a 9 year old daughter in the 3rd grade and is working on a justice and freedom project at justiceforisabella
